Steel is a versatile material, used across the industry in many applications ranging from Automotive to Structural. Having fabricated your items in Steel, they will require a protective finish in order to prevent corrosion – even indoors! Steel is a cost effective and durable solution but is also the most recycled material on Earth, making it sustainable too. Steel items can be sent out for Post-Galvanising or Powder Coating, which will limit the effects of corrosion and improve the longevity of your products.
We also work with Corten or Weathering Steel, which is often seen in Gardens and Architectural embellishments for its unique orange patina which develops over time. Corten is much more resistant to corrosion than standard Steel, and often does not require any protective coatings as the ‘rusty’ appearance is what makes it so appealing!
